FEEDBACK SERVICE

NYISA offers applicants the unique opportunity to order a copy of their project’s Official Score Report and Judge Commentary. This service is available for a fee of $50 and will be emailed to the applicant immediately upon completion of judging.

JUDGE STATEMENT

Judges are given the scripts by title and tracking number only. NYISA is judged by working professionals and experts in the film, television and entertainment industries, all of whom have years of experience reading, evaluating and developing scripts for studios, agencies, management firms and production companies. NYISA judges are experts in recognizing and evaluating the integral components of a well-written, quality screenplay, including story, plot, structure, pacing, dialogue, character, and marketability. Scripts will be evaluated on a ten-point scale. The Judges will give each script a score of 1 to 10 in each of the following criteria: Concept, Presentation, Theme, Storytelling Ability, Structure, Plot, Characterization, Dialouge, Style, Concept Marketability/Commercial Appear, Orginality.

SCRIPT ANALYSIS

NYISA script experts read your script, then they write an objective report that’s designed to help you gain perspective on your writing and improve your screenplay in future drafts. The consultation will not include a synopsis or an extensive inventory of praise, but it will include a complete, constructive assessment on how to make your screenplay stronger and develop yourself as a screenwriter. You will receive 8-9 pages of detailed analysis. It includes the suggestions.
